ALCTR — aggregated large cash transaction reports, on schedule.
IWTR — cross-border transfer reporting, fully automated.
Best-practice standards reduce cost and risk in regulatory reporting.
No upfront investment.
Savings from year one.
Complete financing with simple monthly payments — no CAPEX. We deliver a fully integrated solar solution from start to finish, valorizing your unused rooftops, carports and land into cash flow and savings.
PV installations on building roofs — like our work for Nissan Motors Uganda.
Solar canopies over car parks — shade and clean power from the same footprint.
Utility-scale ground arrays — including panels mounted in Northern Uganda.
Turn rooftops, carports and outlying land into measurable savings.
Complete financing with simple monthly payments — savings from year one.
Solar costs less and isn't tied to volatile market electricity pricing.
Lower emissions send a powerful message to customers and investors.
We assess your site, energy bills and load profile to size the right system.
A tailormade design with simple monthly payments — no upfront CAPEX.
Certified installation on rooftop, carport or ground by our engineering team.
Remote monitoring tracks output and flags issues before they cost you.

Indicative estimates only, based on typical Ugandan solar performance. Your UTATU site assessment gives exact figures — at no cost.
Registered, highly experienced engineers covering the full lifecycle — from FEED verification to commissioning and start-up.
Our engineering team is made of registered engineers with over six years of experience across process, mechanical, piping, civil & structural, electrical engineering and instrumentation — trusted on projects with partners like Nexus Green, Coca-Cola and Davis & Shirtliff. See our track record →
FEED verification, design review and approval, equipment sizing, layout and 3D modelling, and close-out — engineering done right before a single bolt is turned.
Dynamic surge analysis, energy-conservation studies, constructability reviews and operating manuals — proving the design performs before it's built.
Manpower supply, field engineering, construction procedures, inspection & ITP, material management, and commissioning & start-up — managed end to end.
Every milestone began with a vision that saw the end before the beginning — one idea in 2013, growing into a conglomerate of platforms and offices across Africa.
UTATU is conceived by four thinkers excelling independently in data analytics, electrical & mechanical engineering, data science and business computing. The flagship Data Analytics Suite — the seed of today's Uanalyze — is born.
UTATU Engineering is established and quickly partners with an international solar company on two major projects as a subcontractor — laying the foundation for the Renewable Energy division. The team also collaborates with a firm in India on facial-detection software for a South African security client.
Our software engineers develop the Uregista identity and data-capture platform and demo it to the NRM, then showcase it to financial institutions and schools needing organised, timely data capture — both online and offline.
The co-founders re-register the company under its current name and partner with Nexus Green, Coca-Cola and Davis & Shirtliff on engineering projects. The IT arm builds the GoAML tool — the basis of uFIU — and the company extends its solutions to Zimbabwe with partner Omega Sol Ltd.
The Urecon reconciliation tool is created. Successful proofs of concept run at Tropical Bank Uganda and Goldmine Finance, a data-analytics POC is delivered at Biyinzika Poultry International, and a call centre is installed at the Uganda Insurers Association.
After multiple proofs of concept, Urecon is selected for full implementation at Tropical Bank and Goldmine Finance. The CRB Submissions Tool launches at Goldmine Finance, and UTATU's Engineering Arm is chosen to install solar across all Stabex International fuel stations.
UTATU moves from project tools to standalone products — building ConfirmRail for digital bank audit confirmations, Tap for mobile ordering and payments, and growing Scholaris into a complete school management system. The group also sponsors the JICO League 2024/2025.
From its Kampala head office, UTATU Opus now operates a network of offices across the continent — Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi and Sierra Leone — bringing solar, software and engineering closer to the markets that need them.
A look at how UTATU's solar, software and engineering teams have solved real problems for real organisations across the region.
After successful proofs of concept, Urecon was selected for full implementation — turning slow, manual reconciliation into a streamlined, automatic process.
UTATU's engineering arm was selected to design and install solar power across all Stabex International fuel stations — cutting grid dependency.
